Is SleepKit free?
Yes. Recording, sleep score, sleep stages, alarm and the Apple Watch app are free. Longer trends, all recordings and all sounds are optional with Premium as an in-app purchase.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. Without a watch, SleepKit estimates your sleep with the microphone and motion sensor of your iPhone. With an Apple Watch, measured sleep stages, heart rate and HRV from Apple Health are added.
Do I need an account?
No. SleepKit works without an account, login or registration.
Where are my snore recordings stored?
On your iPhone. You can delete them at any time in the settings.
Is SleepKit a medical device?
No. SleepKit helps you observe your sleep habits but does not give medical advice. If you have concerns such as pauses in breathing or strong daytime sleepiness, talk to your doctor.
Is SleepKit available for Android?
The Android version is planned. Once it is available, you will find the Google Play link here.
Does the smart alarm work on every iPhone?
The alarm uses the alarm feature of iOS 26. It is not available on older iOS versions.
Do the sleep sounds work without internet?
Yes. All sounds are included in the app and play offline, with an optional timer from 15 to 90 minutes.
How accurate are the sleep stages?
With an Apple Watch, they come from the watch’s measurements in Apple Health. Without a watch, they are an estimate from sounds and movement – SleepKit labels this for every night.
Where do I put my iPhone?
On the nightstand next to your bed, ideally on the charging cable. That lets SleepKit pick up sounds and movement.
How is the sleep score calculated?
From sleep duration (40%), restfulness (30%), quiet in the room or snoring share (20%) and regularity (10%). The app explains the score for every night.
Does SleepKit write to Apple Health?
Yes, if you allow it: nights recorded by the iPhone are saved to Apple Health as sleep.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, the subscription will not renew.
Which languages is SleepKit available in?
In 14 languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
